You are saying there is a thing that almost everyone on earth can contribute to and build a gigantic network of knowledge?!

Interplanetary Migration
Thinking about it, how would we get the World Wide Web onto another Planet?
You also have to consider in what way.
Here are some :
The bridge
So this only works if we plan to inhabit both Earth and the new Planet.
We would somehow transfer the internet data between the 2 planets in real time.
This would for one be very slugish, unless we know how to circumvent light speed, and also it would pose as a major security risk.
So whoever intercepts the data-flow has access to all interplanetary comunications.
The R.A.I.D.
Similar to a R.A.I.D. Volumes (multiple hard-drives connected to create one large storage space) we could Have it reaching across planets.
But there is more to it!
Often times in a R.A.I.D., the same data is stored on multiple drives, so that if one fails, another can jump in.
And this is how i would imagine copying the internet.
First we copy everything using the above mentioned bridge, then when something is written, it gets written on both planets.
So there practicaly are 2 WWWs, but they get synced continuously.
That aside
Im just a guy, and I probably wont figure this out. If we ever migrate we will probably leave Earth behind because it is ruined.
